Her obituary: Hilda Adams, August 15, 1952 – March 31, 2023. Hilda Adams age 70, of Canton, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Gayton officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Hilda was a wonderful Mother and Ninny to her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts, painting, fishing and playing cards, especially Canasta. Hilda loved her dogs and sports, she was an avid Falcons, Braves and Georgia Bulldogs fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, H.J. and Dot Wehunt; and brother, Joey Wehunt; survivors include her children, Randall C. Dodson and April Mays (Chris); sister, Glennis Jackson; grandchildren, Ryan Hughes (Alec), Mandee Dodson, Shad Mays (Hannah), Colton Mays and Chloe Mays; great-grandchildren, Thorson, Kaiser, Blaise, Serenity and Billie; niece, Sunie Rodgers; as well as cousins and many friends.
