Her obituary: Hunt, Joan Clark. Sandra Joan Clark Hunt went home to the Lord on Friday, July 21st, 2023. Joan was born on June 15th, 1952, in Marietta, Georgia to William Bill Clark Jr. and Thelma White Clark. She graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1970, where she was known for being a cheerleader. Joan began her career in the payroll department at Tip Top Poultry. She then went on to spend her career working for twenty plus years as a medical professional while supporting a family-run business. Joan was an avid gardener and enjoyed bird-watching and being outdoors. She loved cheering for the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs any chance she could. More than anything, she loved her family and loved spending time with them. Her pride and joy were her sons and her two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her father, William Bill Clark Jr., and her sister, Debra Debbie O'Dell. She is survived by her sons, Wesley Fulbright and wife Priscilla Rosell,Matthew Hunt and wife Adriane Hunt, granddaughters Addison Fulbright and Eleanor Hunt; mother, Thelma White Clark; sisters, Sheila Bagwell, Joy Douglas and husband Steve Douglas, Gayle Winkler and husband Gary Winkler; and many nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members. She will be remembered as a loving mother, a doting grandmother, and for having a heart full of compassion and kindness. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 27th, at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM at the Columbarium.
