Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Haygood Mock born December 12, 1951 passed away at the age of 70 at Northside Hospital ICU Canton, Georgia on December 25, 2021. Nancy attended Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated from Kennesaw State College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Public and Social Services and Criminal Justice. Nancy married Gene, The Love of Her Life on December 30, 1978. They shared many happy years pursuing their love of travel, camping and gardening. She was also an avid reader. She loved her family with a passion and had a knack for connecting with those in need. Her love and influence will forever remain in the lives of those she touched. Nancy is preceded in death by her mother, Rosa W. Haygood; her father, Cecil Bagwell Haygood; brothers, Mark Vann Haygood and John Benjamin Haygood. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Gene Robert Mock; son, Robert Mock and his wife, Patty; brother, David Haygood and his wife, Catherine; sister, Susie Haygood Barron and Jeff Ray; grandsons, Jason and Dylan Mock; great-granddaughters, Vanessa and Vivian Mock and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, Georgia on Thursday, December 30, 2021, 12 noon – 2PM. Pastor Nicholas Pepper will be officiating services to follow in the chapel at 2PM after visitation. A private family burial service will be held at Kennesaw Memorial Gardens on December 31, 2021.
