His obituary: William Nelson Kidd, February 24, 1950 — July 15, 2024, Phenix City, AL. Mr. William Nelson Kidd, 74, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday July 15, 2024, at his home. There will be a memorial service at 10:30 am Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Great South Harley Davidson, 185 East Hwy 16, Newnan, GA 30263. Mr. Kidd was born February 24, 1950 in Marietta, GA, son of the late W. T. Kidd, Sr. and Ruby Foy Kidd. He worked for Great South Harley Davidson until his retirement, with over 30 years of service. Mr. Kidd was a life member of the HOG Association and also a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans. He enjoyed yardwork, motorcycles and his Ford Mustangs. Above all, Mr. Kidd loved spending time with his family and his dog, Cowboy, who passed away last week. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, W. T. Kidd, Jr., Jimmy Kidd and Wallace Kidd; as well as, one sister, Charlene Kidd Spears. Mr. Kidd is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Kasper Kidd of Phenix City, AL; two sisters-in-law, Joanne Kidd and Cathy Kidd; four nieces; one nephew and the Turtle Tribe, Debbie, Susan, Denise, Whitney and Chrisey.
