Barry Ward. Barry died on March 28, 1985.
His obituary: Mr. Ward. Walter Barry Ward, 31, of Marietta died Thursday. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge chapel with the Rev. Lynn Eynon officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Memorial Park of Kennesaw. A native of Atlanta, Mr. Ward moved to Marietta in 1968. He was a veteran and a self-employed roofer. Mr. Ward was a member of the Eastwood Forest Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Connie Pruitt Ward of Marietta; three daughters, Ginger Dilbeck, Crystal Ward and Ashley Ward; father Wallace R. Ward, all of Marietta; mother, Edna Ward of Cartersville; two brothers, Wallace R. Ward of Marietta, Ralph Paul Ward of Kennesaw; three sisters, Patricia Gilbert and Virginia Croft, both of Wichita, Kan.; Barbara Chamlee of Marietta. Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home of Kennesaw is in charge of arrangements.
