His obituary: Billy J. Dilbeck, 55, Powder Springs resident. Billy Joe Dilbeck, 55, of Powder Springs died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta, with the Revs. Dewey Cobb and Bryan Allen officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Blue Ridge. Mr. Dilbeck retired from the Cobb County School System as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Diann Dilbeck; one son, Jody Dilbeck of Dallas; three brothers, Ron Dilbeck of Powder Springs, Joe Dilbeck of Canton and Jim Dilbeck of Dallas; and one grandchild. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd., Suite 280, Kennesaw, GA 30144. The family will receive friends from noon to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
