Billy Wall. Billy died on May 4, 2016.
His obituary: Wall, Jr., William F. William F. Wall, Jr. (62) passed away May 4, 2016 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife, Teresa, sons, Justin (Micah) and Ben (Katie), mother, Ruby, brother, Kevin, sisters, Suzanne Alcocer and Wendy Speight, and grandchildren, Peyton, Chloe, and Sawyer Grace. He was predeceased by his father. An Atlanta native, Billy grew up in Cascade Heights, attending Cascade Elementary and Therrell High School. He was proud of his service with the Atlanta Boy Choir and his athletic endeavors throughout his youth. After the family moved to Marietta in 1970, Billy graduated from Sprayberry High School and received a football scholarship to Appalachian State University. There he earned his degree and lettered all four years. Most importantly, he met Teresa Payseur, and they married in 1978. Billy's career was in the insurance industry, and after a year in Dallas, TX, he and Teresa returned to Georgia and made Roswell their permanent home. Many happy days were spent with their boys as they competed at Roswell Rec and on into high school. While Billy remained an avid sports fan, his family was his passion, and he and Teresa were blessed with a strong and loving marriage and many close friends. Billy was a special man. His kind heart, gentle wit, and loving spirit will be remembered but sorely missed. The family will receive visitors at the Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075 at 2 pm, followed by a celebration of life service at 3. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research www.lustgarten.org.
