Her obituary: Miss Buford. Melody Ann Buford, 16, of 289 Owenby Rd., Marietta, was killed in [a] traffic accident Friday.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Acworth Church of God Prophecy, with the Rev. Ralph Bryant and the Rev. Jimmy Summerall officiating. The body will lie in state from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery, with Medford Brothers Funeral Home in charge. Surviving are parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Buford Jr.; one brother, Freddie W. Buford III, Marietta; grandparents Fred W. Buford, Dallas; Mrs. Stella Wilson, Cartersville; several aunts and uncles.
