Sharon Hewatt. Sharon died on July 6, 2025. This is her Sophomore picture, the last school portrait available.
Her obituary: Sharon Kay Hewatt Wise, October 28, 1955 – July 6, 2025. Sharon Kay Hewatt Wise, of Marietta, GA, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus surrounded by family the morning of July 6, 2025. Sharon was born in Marietta, GA to Randolph J. and Mamie Lee Hewatt on October 28, 1955. She graduated (early) from Sprayberry High School, Class of 1973, and married Robert M. Wise at the age of 16. She had a passion for working. After working for others for many years, she started her financial planning business, Wise and Associates, and for her last 10 years at her son's company, GrassRoots Turf, as CFO. She was the runner up for Atlanta Business Chronicle's CFO of the Year in 2020. Sharon always attributed her work ethic and skills to her big sister, Brenda. However, she counted her children and grandchildren and her nearly 53-year marriage as her greatest accomplishments. She was a generous lady and was known for her 'buy yourself some lunch' gifts as she passed out 20's on a regular basis. She was an exceptional friend as is attributed to the several friends she still has from her high school days. Her greatest love was Jesus, and because of that, we do not grieve without hope and know we will see her again. Sharon was predeceased by and is now reunited with her father, Randolph J. Hewatt, mother, Mamie Lee Hewatt, brother, James Hewatt, grandson, Carson Wise, niece, Vicki Faulk, and great-nephew, Sean Wilkinson.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert M. Wise, daughter, Amanda (Todd) Mullins, sons, Matthew (Julie) Wise and Josh (Tara) Wise, grandchildren, Abigail Mullins, Everette Wise, Annie Wise, Brody Mullins, Bryce Mullins, and Ellie Wise, Sister, Brenda (Walt) Alton, brother, Kenny (Jodi) Hewatt, sister-in-law Faye Hewatt, 6 nephews (and spouses), 3 nieces (and spouses) and a host of great nephews and nieces, and great-great ones too. Sharon was blessed with an abundance of family to love, and she did so well. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's in memory of Sharon at, https://www.stjude.org/donate. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, 5:00-700pm.
