Class of 1975

Sally Richardson. Sally died on June 23, 2026.

Her obituary: Sarah Elizabeth Richardson Sally, was born in 1957 to Herb and Barbara Richardson. She was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia and graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1975. Passed away on June 23rd 2026 in Missoula, Montana. Sally married John Cobb in 1976 and had two beautiful children, Erin (Cobb) Horner and John Cobb Jr. KC (08/07/1978-08/11/1978). Sally and Erin lived in Japan during John's time in the United States Army. Eventually settling back in Marietta, Georgia. John and Sally divorced in 1979 after the passing of their son but remained good friends as the years went on. Sally moved to Montana with her daughter and son-in-law in 1999, and welcomed her first granddaughter in 2000. Sally had many friends, she had a way of making people laugh and feeling welcome in any situation. Sally was full of love and often gave more than what she had to the people around her. She spent over 12 years in Montana working as a hospice CNA. Sally had a love for food and would bake a large array of holiday cookies for anyone and everyone she knew. Sally's biggest loss in life was losing her son KC at just 4 days old. Every year she celebrated the date of his birth and mourned his death. While non–coherent in her final days, she looked at her nurse clear as day and said, I can hear him! I hear him talking to me. My baby boy is talking to me. Sally will be greatly missed by the people here on earth but her family is happy for the reunion of Sally and KC. When I leave this earth, bury me in comfy clothes and tie my shoelaces right. I've got a playdate with a little boy waiting for me in the sky. Sally is lived on through her mother Barbara, her daughter Erin, her grandchildren Caitlin, Jesse, and Grace, her great-granddaughter Laramie and her siblings, Linda and Herb Jr. There will be no memorial, Sally's ashes will be spread with her sister, Antoinette (Toni) and her dad, Herb Sr. At a private family memorial site.
