Bruce Lindsay. Bruce died on June 10, 2026.
His obituary: David Bruce Lindsay, March 9, 1960 ~ June 10, 2026. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David Bruce Lindsay, age 66, of Woodstock, Georgia, on June 10th, 2026. He was in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. As the patriarch of the family, his presence will be deeply missed, and his loss profoundly grieved. Bruce was born on March 9, 1960 to his loving parents, Ronda Jean Lindsay and Jimmy Ronald Lindsay. He graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1978. Ever the hard worker, Bruce worked at Coca Cola for 10 years. He went on to build his own business, Lindsay Trucking, from the ground up and worked in this business until his retirement. On Father's Day of 1996, Bruce met the love of his life, Patti, in the most unlikely of places, the parking lot of a Publix grocery store. Patti saw a good–looking man in the check out line, decided to set her sights on him and pretended he dropped a penny in the store. Bruce was smitten, and soon fell in love with this beautiful, fun-spirited widow of three. She fell in love with his heart and his ponytail, and the two of them celebrated the next 30 years together devoted to the family they both love. David Bruce Lindsay is survived by his precious wife Patricia Susan Booth Lindsay; his 3 children, Joshua Lewis (Mandie), Wendy Sherman (Nick), and Cheston Lewis (Chelsea); his 12 beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Lewis, Jesalyn Lewis, Olivia Lewis, Griffin Lewis, Finley Lewis, Kalaya Williams (Dylan), Taylor Williams, Jacob Williams, Lexi Sherman, Elijah Sherman, Cheslea Lewis and Casen Lewis; and 2 great grandchildren Kyleigh Allison and Caiden Allison. He is also survived by his sister Joni Hodge (Hank) and niece Samantha Hodge. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brent Lindsay. [Southern Cremations and Funerals, Marietta, Ga.]
