Her obituary: Michelle L. Motes, 31, former Cobb resident. Michelle Missy Leigh Motes, 31, of Woodstock, formerly of Cobb, died Thursday. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with the Rev. Sid Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Memorial Park. A native of Lansing, Mich., Mrs. Motes moved to Georgia in 1975 from Texas. She was a Presbyterian. Survivors include her husband, Eddie Motes; son, Cameron Motes of Woodstock; daughter, Kathleen Motes of Woodstock; parents, Dave and Linda Collins of Marietta; brother, John Curtis of Woodstock; sister, Angie Pack of Woodstock; maternal grandmother, Louise Kutzenberger of Waco, Texas. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
