Christopher Bentley, 40, of Ball Ground, passed away. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2010, in the Chapel of Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Marietta, with Rev. Johnny Hunt and Rev. Donald Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park, Marietta.
Christopher was an avid motorcyclist and worked in the automotive industry nearly 20 years. He was a loving friend, brother, and uncle, and loved his dogs. He was a very strong Christian and a member of First Baptist Church Woodstock. Survivors include parents, Cecil & Peggy Bentley, of Marietta; one brother, Lee Bentley and wife, Kim, of Acworth; one nephew, Justin Bentley; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Christopher was predeceased by his brother, Horace Derrick Bentley. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, 1001 Johnson Ferry Rd, N.E., Atlanta, GA 30342.
