His obituary: Obie John Hammons, March 11, 1969 – October 19, 2021. Obie John Hammons, age 52, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Obie was born March 11, 1969 to Mary Osborne Hammons and O.J. Hammons. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. Obie loved the Lord and the Bible, he was a gun collector, enjoyed sports but most of all the Georgia Bulldogs. He loved his mother and was known to be a mamas boy, Family was the most important thing in his life. Obie is survived by his sons, Obie John Hammons Jr., Aidan Hammons, Andres Madrigal, his daughters Shala Griffeth, Daniella Fernandini, and Natasha Fan; his sisters Karen Neal (Dennis), Sharon Glaze (Tim) and Julie Hughes. Several Nieces and Nephews. Obie was preceded in death by his father O.J. Hammons and his mother Mary Osborne Hammons. A celebration of life gathering for Obie will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152, followed by a celebration of life memorial at 2:00 PM.
