Her obituary: Cox: Ms. Patrice Michele Cox, age 32, of Atlanta, Georgia, died Sunday, July 7, 2002. Ms. Cox was born in 1969 to Bill and Dovia Cox of Marietta, Georgia where she grew up and attended the local schools. After graduating Sprayberry High School in 1987, Patrice worked for Enforcer Products for several years before beginning a successful career as a Mortgage Broker. In addition to her career in Finance, her numerous modeling assignments were featured in several national publications. Patrice was beautiful inside and out, free spirited in nature, very personable and out going, and an extremely loving person, especially to her family and to her dog, Chico. She loved the outdoors and motorcycles. Patrice will be remembered for being as comfortable on a Harley as she was behind a desk. She will forever be in our hearts as a dear and loving sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Ms. Cox is preceded in death by her father, Mr. William Lloyd Cox. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Dovia Adella Cox of Marietta, Georgia; a brother, Donald Cox of Marietta; five sisters, Alice Barger and husband, Jim of Lincoln, Nebraska; Cynthia Cox of Marietta, Georgia; Jacqueline Harmon and husband, Keith of Kennesaw, Georgia; Billie Ann Franchella and husband, David of Woodstock, Georgia; Katryna Cox of Alpharetta, Georgia, several nieces and nephews, and cherished friend, Kim Bartlett Herndon of Marietta, Georgia. The memorial service will be 4 P.M., Sunday, July 14, 2002, at Shepherd Spinal Center, 2020 Peachtree Road in Atlanta, Georgia, with Dr. Bryant Harris officiating.
