Her obituary: Jennifer Justice Raeburn. It is with great sadness that the family of Jennifer Justice Raeburn, 48, announces her passing after a long illness on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019 at Cartersville Medical Center. Jennifer was born Oct. 31, 1970 in Austell, Ga. and grew up in Marietta, Ga. She graduated with honors from Sprayberry High School in Marietta and earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Georgia Tech. She later held management positions with several communications companies in Indiana, before returning to Georgia to take a position with an investment company as an investment analyst. Jennifer lived in Smyrna, Ga. for the last several years. In her high school years, Jennifer was an all-star softball player in a competitive recreational league in Marietta. Jennifer was an avid reader from an early age, loved music and socializing with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and had visited 48 of the 50 states. Jennifer will be lovingly remembered by her father and stepmother, Wayne and Susie Justice, of Warne; mother, Carol Mann, of Young Harris, Ga.; one brother, Matt Justice (Meredith), of Hayesville; niece, Audrey Justice, of Young Harris; one step-sister, Bethany McClurkan (Robert), of Canton, Ga. and their children, Cassidy and Houston; and one step-brother, Kevin Shackelford. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
