He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Kathleen Pierce. sister in law Joy Pierce. Stephen is survived by his loving wife Rebekah Pierce of Chatsworth, son, Mickey Palmer, daughter and son in law, Cumberland and Derick Wilkey both from Chatsworth; siblings, Brenda, Mike, Rick Pierce, Cindy, and Roy Smith, all of Athens GA; father and mother in law, Michael and Sue Palmer of Chatsworth; brothers in law and sisters in law Chris and Tracy Palmer of Middle Valley, TN. Truett and Jamie Palmer of Chatsworth; Several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends also survive. A service to honor the life of Stephen Eugene Pierce will be 1 pm on Monday, November 14, 2022, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with Dr. Sam Palmer officiating. The interment will be in the Holly Creek Baptist church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 13, 2022, from 5 pm to 8 pm.
