His obituary: Jeffrey Scott Long, Monday, February 18, 2019. Jeffrey Scott Long, age 48, of Canton, Georgia passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Stacy Lynn Bryant Long of Canton; mother, Linda Scott; children, Gabby and Tyler Thomas of Woodstock, Taylor and Miles Lathem of Canton, Rachel Long of Canton; grandfather, Ray Hefner; brother, Joey Unick of Las Vegas; sister Christy Stephenson of Waleska; brother, Chris Unick of Nashville; grandchildren, Malcolm Lathem, Tayton Lathem, Waylon Thomas; mother-in-law, Carolyn Bryant; and special friend, Elmo. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Brother Chris Unick, Reverend Shane Stephenson, Reverend Eddie Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at South Canton Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Arrangements handled by Roper Funeral Home in conjunction with South Canton Funeral Home.
