His obituary: Michael Shane Arnold, July 25, 1970 – February 9, 2023. Mr. Michael Shane Arnold, age 52, of Calhoun, with deep sadness, Shane was called home by Jesus on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Shane was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 25, 1970. Shane was a member of Plumbers Local #72. He was a devoted father and brother. His generosity and love will be missed not only by family but by many friends. Survivors include three sons, Levi George Arnold, Michael Brock Arnold, and Triston Nicholas Arnold; his father, Michael Lee Arnold; his mother, Marilyn Eloise Moon Graham; his grandmother, Mary Nell Moon; two grandsons, Maxyn and Zaid; one granddaughter, Avery; sister, Michelle Arnold Gibson; numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Colonel Thomas J. Rogers officiating. Private family interment will be in Scott Cemetery, Plainville GA, at a later date. The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Saturday from 12:00 pm until 1:45 pm. Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, has charge of the arrangements.
