Her obituary: Sheila Jona Weston, Formerly of Pittsburgh, College student. Sheila Jona Weston, 21, of Kennesaw, Ga., died Sunday, Dec. 18, 1994, in Kennesaw from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Born Oct. 30, 1973, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., she was the daughter of Annette Carney of Kennesaw and the Rev. Gary Weston of Valencia Presbyterian Church.
Miss Weston was a 1990 graduate of New Brighton High School and was a senior at Georgia State University. She worked at TGI Fridays Restaurant, Kennesaw.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Lisa Eve Coombs of Chicago and Heather Weston of Pittsburgh, one brother, Gary Lee Weston III of Valencia, a friend, David Griffith of Kennesaw; her maternal grandparents, George and Eve Murgenovich of Cranberry; her paternal grandparents, Harold Buck and Gayle Weston of the North Hills; and several aunts and uncles. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 tonight in McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Valencia Presbyterian Church, Sterrett Street, Valencia, with the Rev. Saleen Churbil, director of the Pittsburgh Project, officiating. Burial will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless. Memorial contributions may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Butler Pa. 16601.
