His obituary: George Metz, 15, Sprayberry freshman. George Moanikeala Metz, 15, of Marietta died Monday. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta with Dr. Sid Harmon officiating. Burial will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. Born in Milton, Fla., Mr. Metz lived in Marietta for 9 years. He was a freshman at Sprayberry High School and a member of Woodstock Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his mother, Pamela Metz of Marietta; his father, George K. Metz of Marietta; one sister, Heather K. Metz of Atlanta; one brother, Ryan K. Metz of Marietta; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George F. Metz of Marietta; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ardis Taylor of Marietta. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
