Her obituary: Melissa Hague, UGA student. Melissa Lynn Hague, a University of Georgia student from Marietta, was struck and killed by a bus Thursday as she crossed a campus street. Miss Hague, 20, was a 1994 graduate of Sprayberry High School. Born in Ann Arbor, Mich., Miss Hague moved with her family to Marietta when she was in the fourth grade, said her brother, Kyle, a senior at Sprayberry. In high school, Miss Hague was a member of several service clubs, including the Anchor Club and Amnesty International, and was president of Students for Environmental Awareness. She attended Kennesaw State College and Georgia College in Milledgeville before enrolling at the University of Georgia to study anthropology and human science, her brother said. Also surviving are her parents, Roger and Laree Hague of Marietta. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Marietta. The body will be cremated. H.M. Patterson & Son, Canton Hill, is in charge of arrangements.
