His obituary: Jesse b. Yike, 14, Marietta resident. Jesse B. Yike, 14, of Marietta, died Thursday. Services will be 3 p.m. today at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with the Rev. Lewis Abbott officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park. A native of Cobb County, Yike was a freshman at Sprayberry High School. He was active in the Shaw Park Baseball Association and attended Piedmont Baptist Church. Survivors include his father, Carl Raymond Yike Jr. of Marietta; mother, M. Dianne Sweeney of Marietta; brother, Daniel Raymond Yike of Marietta; sister, Hayley D. Yike of Marietta; grandparents, Vernon and Bettye Jackson of Smyrna and Virginia C. Yike of Marietta; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
