His obituary: Teska. Chris Teska, beloved son of Ron and Rose, loved brother of Dave, died Monday, August 28, 2000. He was born in Illinois and moved to Georgia in 1991. He was active in Cobb County sports, baseball, football, ice hockey and motor cross. He was a friend to all animals and kind to them all. He will be missed by his family and all his friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Cobb and Douglas Community Help Line, Suicide Prevention Fund, 361 N. Marietta Pkwy., Marietta, Ga., 30067 or Cobb County Humane Society, P.O. Box 912, Marietta, Ga. 30061. Memorial services will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the funeral home. Placed by family.
