His obituary: John Waldbart. John Waldbart, age 26, of Kennesaw, died December 4, 2008. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2008, Transfiguration Catholic Church, Monsignor Pat Bishop officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m., Monday, in Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, with military honors. Born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, he lived most of his life in Cobb County. He was an Eagle Scout; and graduated from Sprayberry High School in 2000. He served in The U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Wasp. Survivors include his parents, Ted and Alice Waldbart, of Kennesaw; sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Jacob Nickerson, of Charleston, South Carolina; a nephew, Lawton Nickerson; aunts, uncles, and cousins in St. Louis, Missouri.
