His obituary: Troy Peeples, 17, Sprayberry High student. Troy Peeples, 17, of Kennesaw died Saturday, August 8. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Piedmont Baptist Church in Marietta, with Kay Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Park Cemetery in Marietta. The body will be at the church at 2:30 p.m. A lifelong resident of Kennesaw, Mr. Peeples was a junior at Sprayberry High School in Marietta and a member of Piedmont Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Keith and Joey Peeples of Kennesaw; one brother, Ryan Peeples of Kennesaw; his paternal grandmother, Pauline Peeples of East Point; and him maternal grandfather, James E. Smith of Uniontown, Pa. Contributions may be made to Genesis Ministries, 262 Hawkins Store Road, Kennesaw, Ga. 30144. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta.
