2002 Sprayberry graduate. Leighann Settle, 19, of Kennesaw died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta, with the Rev. Bobby Sunderland officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday in Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville. A Cobb County native, Ms. Settle was employed by Horse Town in Marietta. She was a 2002 graduate of Sprayberry High School and a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta. Survivors include her parents, Jerry L. and Debbie L. Settle of Kennesaw; two brothers, Clint Settle of Kennesaw and Michael Settle of Newnan; two sister, Sheila McGriffin of Hogansville and Sandy Settle of Canton; and nephews and nieces. Contributions may be made to the family toward funeral expenses and the Masonic Home of Georgia for Children.
