His obituary: Mr Jesus Fonseca Jr, 19, Army veteran. Jesus Fonseca Jr., 19, of Marietta died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005. Mr. Fonseca served in the Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Services will be 4 p.m. Friday at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, with Monsignor Patrick Bishop and Father Fernando Ruge officiating. Burial will be in Degallado, Jalisco, Mexico, with full military honors. The body will be at the church at 2 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Marlen of Jalisco, Mexico; his parents, Jesus Fonseca Sr. and Gloria Fonseca; three brothers, Jose Fonseca, Ricardo Fonseca and David Fonseca, all of Marietta; two sisters, Patricia Rodriquez and Gloria Fonseca; and nephews and nieces. Floral offerings may be sent to Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta.
