Her obituary: Johnson, Christine. Christine Elizabeth Johnson passed away on October 29, 2016. In 2015 she was honored as a Doctoral graduate from the University of Kentucky, College of Education; Department of Kinesiology & Health Promotion. Christine achieved her Masters of Science and Bachelor of Science Degrees from Georgia Southern University, and was a 2006 graduate of Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Georgia. Christine was a wonderful daughter to Scott and Rebecca Johnson, and loving sister to Sarah Johnson and Kelsey Johnson-Sears. She maintained and fostered the strong bonds of family and friendship throughout her life. She lived her life to the fullest, and enjoyed travelling to be with friends and family. While on her journeys, she met many people and forged lasting relationships that spanned the decades of her life. She was able to reside in Boulder CO, Lexington KY, and Asheville NC. She was always surrounded by friends and family and enriched the lives of everyone she touched. Christine is survived by her parents Scott and Rebecca Johnson, older sister Sarah Johnson, younger sister Kelsey Johnson-Sears, her brother-in-law Scott Sears, her partner April Williams, and Allison – her beloved dog. The memorial service will be held on Saturday November 5, 2016 from 2-4 PM in the Worship Center of Piedmont Church 570 Piedmont Rd Marietta, GA 30066. The family has asked In lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions may be made to Georgia Southern University Foundation, P.O. Box 8053, Statesboro, GA 30460 for the Christine Elizabeth Johnson Memorial Scholarship.
